Mysterious Death of a Housewife in Madaripur Triggers Vandalism and Arson

A tense situation developed in the Uttar Mohisherchar area of Madaripur Sadar Upazila after the mysterious death of a housewife. Following the incident, angry locals allegedly carried out vandalism and set fire to the house of the accused in-laws.

According to local sources, the housewife, identified as Sathi Akter, was found hanging inside her room. Family members claim that it was not a suicide. They believe she was murdered and the incident was staged to look like a suicide.

As the allegation spread throughout the area, tension quickly grew among residents. A large number of locals gathered near the house of the accused family and reportedly attacked the property. Witnesses said parts of the house were vandalized and later set on fire. Some household items and sections of the building were damaged in the blaze.

Police arrived at the scene after receiving the information and worked to bring the situation under control. Law enforcement members calmed the crowd and additional police forces were deployed in the area to prevent further unrest.

Police officials stated that the body of the housewife has been sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities also said that legal action will be taken against anyone found involved after the investigation is completed.

The incident has created widespread discussion and concern among local residents, who are now demanding a proper investigation and justice for the victim.
